2 Air intake pipe
5 Bolts
6 Belt pulley with vibration damper
3 Charge air pipe
4 Hose clamp
| Remove/install | ||
1 | Turn transmitter key in EIS [EZS]] control unit to position "0" and remove | To prevent unintentional starting of the engine. | |
2 | Unclip air intake pipe (2) from air filter housing (1) and place to one side | ||
3 | Loosen hose clamp (4) on charge air pipe (3) | ||
4 | Lift/jack up vehicle | ||
5 | Remove bolts (5) and pull off charge air pipe (3) from compressor and attach to undercarriage | Close off the openings with a rag. | |
6 | Crank engine at the belt pulley with vibration damper (6) in direction of engine rotation | ||
7 | Install in the reverse order |
