2 | Start engine and allow to idle | ||
3 | Switch on air conditioning | ||
4 | Check refrigerant flow in inspection glass (2) | The refrigerant must flow bubble-free through the inspection glass (2). After the air conditioning is refilled completely, wait for approx. 10 min before checking the refrigerant flow in the inspection glass (2). Ambient temperatures > 35 °C can result in foaming or slight bubble formation in the inspection glass. | |
In the case of bubble formation and suspected refrigerant loss: Determine and eliminate cause - subject to separate repair order. | |||
5 | Switch off air conditioning and switch off engine | ||
