Detach paneling at left B-pillar and guide to one side

 Do not remove paneling. The seat belt need not be removed.

 Installation: Only attach paneling after charging and checking the air conditioning.

Remove evaporator unit paneling

 Installation: Only install evaporator unit paneling after the air conditioning has been filled and checked.

Remove air duct for air conditioning (roof equipment)

 Installation: Only install air duct after charging and checking the air conditioning.

Remove headliner

 Installation: Only install headliner after charging and checking the air conditioning.

Detach drain hoses (1) from piping on bracket for refrigerant lines

Remove pressure-side refrigerant line (F) and intake-side refrigerant line (J) from expansion valve



Compressor oils (specification 362.0)

 Installation: Install pressure-side refrigerant line (F) and intake-side refrigerant line (J) with new sealing rings. Coat sealing rings with compressor oil before installing.

 Nut, refrigerant lines to expansion valve

Seal openings on expansion valve, on the pressure-side refrigerant line (F) and the suction-side refrigerant line (J) using stop plugs

Detach pressure-side refrigerant line (F) from pressure-side refrigerant line (E) and suction-side refrigerant line (J) from the suction-side refrigerant line (I)



Compressor oils (specification 362.0)

 Installation: Install pressure-side refrigerant line (F) and intake-side refrigerant line (J) with new sealing rings. Coat sealing rings with compressor oil before installing.

Close off openings of pressure-side refrigerant line (F), pressure-side refrigerant line (E), suction-side refrigerant line (J), and suction-side refrigerant line (I) using stop plugs

Detach pressure-side refrigerant line (F) and suction-side refrigerant line (J) from the connecting clamp (2)

Detach bracket for refrigerant lines from the roof brace and remove together with the pressure-side refrigerant line (F) and the suction-side refrigerant line (J)

Remove door sill trim on driver side

 Installation: Only install door sill trim after charging and checking the air conditioning.

Remove guide grommet of pressure-side refrigerant line (E) and suction-side refrigerant line (I) on driver entry side

Lift/jack up vehicle

Remove pressure-side refrigerant line (E) and intake-side refrigerant line (I) from refrigerant lines on underfloor and seal with stop plugs

Lower vehicle

Remove bracket of pressure-side refrigerant line (E) and suction-side refrigerant line (I) on B-pillar, pull lines up and detach from B-pillar

Install in the reverse order
