1 Stick sliding block (1) using long-life grease to ring gear (2) and turn ring gear so that the sliding block's bore lines up with the adjustment screw's (3) bore.
2 Coat adjusting screw 3) with long-term grease and screw-in as far as the end stop.
3 Unscrew adjusting screw (3) by 1/4 turn and tighten jam nut (4).
When performing adjustment operations on the vehicle, the adjusting screw (3) may only be unscrewed by a maximum of 2 turns as otherwise the sliding block may drop into the axle housing.
