1 | Remove engine cover | ||
2 | Unclip and remove cover (1) on the fan cowl (2) | ||
3 | Drain off about 3 liters of coolant at cooler drain valve | ||
Collect coolant in a clean container. | |||
Installation: Replace the drained off coolant quantity up to the marking on coolant expansion reservoir. | |||
4 | Remove coolant hose (11) | Hose clamp pliers | |
5 | Unclip coolant hose (3) on fan shroud (2) and place to one side | ||
6 | Remove cover (9) on both sides to the fan shroud (2) (arrow) | ||
7 | Loosen locks (5), remove fan shroud (2) upwards out of the brackets (4) and place to the rear | The number of brackets (4) can vary. | |
8 | Cover cooler (6) in the area of the viscous fan clutch (7) with a guard plate | ||
