1 | Drain coolant | ||
2 | Remove air filter housing | ||
3 | Unclip vacuum line (4) from cover on left cylinder head cover | ||
4 | Remove bracket (1) with glow output stage (N14/3) and lay down to side | Unclip coolant hose (2) from bracket (1). Do not disconnect electrical connectors from glow output stage (N14/3). | |

5 | Unclip coolant hose (2) from bracket (3). | ||
6 | Open Henn coupling and remove coolant hose (6) on coolant thermostat (5) | Installation: Replace sealing ring. | |
7 | Unclip leak oil line (8) from coolant thermostat (5) | ||
8 | Unscrew bolts (7) and remove coolant thermostat (5) from charge air manifold | Installation: Check seal (9) on coolant thermostat (5), if applicable replace coolant thermostat (5) and clean sealing surface on charge air manifold. | |

9 | Install in the reverse order | ||

10 | Test run engine and check function of coolant thermostat (5) |
