1 Clamp (for engine 646.984/985/986)

2 Charge air muffler (for engine 646.984/985/986)

3 Charge air hose

4 Electrical cable, circuit 30 (B+)

5 electrical connector for circuit 61

6 Bolts

G2/2 ALT (for engine 646.989/990)

G2/7 ALT with LIN bus (for engine 646.984/985/986)

 	Remove/install
1	Lift/jack up vehicle		AR00.60-D-1000H
2	Disconnect battery ground line		AR54.10-D-0003SD
3	Remove poly-V belt		AR13.22-D-1202SD
4.1	Detach clamp (1), disconnect charge air hose (3) at charge air cooler and remove charge air muffler (2) with the charge air hose (3)	With engine 646.984/985/986
		 Installation: Check sealing ring and replace if necessary.
4.2	Remove charge air hose (3) on turbocharger and hang up to one side	On engine 646.989/990
5.1	Remove 2nd refrigerant compressor	Only for code (H08) Heavy duty air conditioning	AR83.55-D-5300SK
5.2	Remove additional refrigerant compressor	For code (N63) Front engine power take-off with carrier for additional refrigerant compressor	AR83.55-D-5300SL
5.3	Remove additional ALT	For code (N62) Front engine power take-off with carrier for additional ALT	AR15.40-D-5032SK
6	Disconnect electrical line for circuit 30 (B+) (4) on ALT (G2/2) or on ALT with LIN bus (G2/7)		*BA15.40-N-1002-01P
7	Disconnect electrical connector of circuit 61 (5)
8	Unscrew bolts (6) and bolts (arrows)		*BA15.40-N-1001-01P
9	Remove ALT (G2/2) or ALT with LIN bus (G2/7) downwards
10	Install in the reverse order
