Disconnect battery ground line

Lift/jack up vehicle

Unscrew bolt (1) on cable duct (2)

Disengage cable duct (2) from the bolt (arrow) from above and place to one side

 Installation: Ensure that the cable duct (2) is seated correctly in the bolt (arrow).

Disconnect electrical line of circuit 30 (3) at the starter (M1)



Disconnect electrical line of circuit 50 (4) at the starter (M1)



Detach starter (M1) at crankcase and remove it from below

 The starter (M1) is fastened with two bolts.



Install in the reverse order
