 Installation: Only install bumper again after the leak test.

Remove charge air hose (2) at fitting (1) and close with a protective cover

 Installation: Replace sealing ring and apply lubricating paste on new sealing ring.

Disconnect electrical connection (3) at charge air temperature sensor (B17/9)

Unclip electrical wiring harness (5) on holder (4) and unclip at throttle valve actuator (M16/42) (arrow)

Remove screw/bolts (9)

 Bolt, throttle valve actuator holder to cylinder head

Remove screws (10) and remove bracket (4)

 Bolt, fitting to throttle valve actuator

Remove screw/bolts (6, 7) and remove fitting (1)

 Bolt, fitting to throttle valve actuator

Disconnect electrical connection (8) at throttle valve actuator (M16/42)

Remove screw/bolts (11) and remove throttle valve actuator (M16/42)

 Bolt, throttle valve actuator to mixer housing

Install in the reverse order



 Warning

Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.

Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

Perform engine test run and check connections in area of throttle valve actuator (M16/42) for leaktightness
