Remove ventilation box (7)

Remove air intake hose (9) downstream of the air filter

Seal connection fittings of the turbocharger with exhaust manifold (1)

Remove oil dipstick guide tube (11) on bracket (10) and detach from cylinder crankcase

 Seal bore in the cylinder crankcase using suitable  stop plugs.

 Installation: Replace sealing rings.

 Set of stop plugs

Remove bolt (6)



Unscrew nut (5) for the bracket of the oil feed line (3) at the turbocharger with exhaust manifold (1)



Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts

Unscrew banjo bolts (4) at the turbocharger with exhaust manifold (1) and at the turbocharger (2)

 Installation: Replace sealing rings.



Remove oil feed line (3)

 Seal holes with suitable plugs.

 Installation: Clean sealing surfaces and sealing ring (8)

 Set of stop plugs

Install in the reverse order

Check engine oil level, correct if necessary

 The engine oil level must not be above the maximum mark. This can lead to engine damage.

Perform engine test run and check engine in the area of the oil feed line (3) and the oil dipstick guide tube (11) for leaks
