0229 - Adjustment of the microswitch at the injection pump (model 202) Engines 601, 602.91, 603.91

Preceding work:

Removing and installing intake manifold (14-180).

Job no. of Job Texts and Work Units or Standard Texts

and Flat Rates:

Locking screw (8d) of adjusting cam

slacken.

Gauge (8c)

fit on to full load stop.

Control lever (16) of injection pump

turn until it makes contact with the gauge (8c).

Adjusting without multimeter

Adjusting cam (8e)

turn anti-clockwise until both microswitches operate audibly (clicking noise).

Note

Microswitch (S27/6) is switched to 10° and 15°.

Adjusting with multimeter

Adjusting cam (8e)

turn anti-clockwise until the readout in the multimeter is  W (see connection diagram).

Note

Microswitch (S27/6) is operated at 15° and 10° before full load.

Locking screw (8d) of adjusting cam

tighten and remove gauge.

check.
