Main vacuum line (B)

disconnect from brake booster (A), ventilate and reconnect.

Vacuum line on auxiliary user connection

disconnect and check choke orifice with
0.8 mm gauge for open passage.

Vacuum tester (019) to auxiliary user
connection

connect and check vacuum at idle speed.

Set value: 700 mbar after 30 s.

If the vacuum set value is not achieved, renew vacuum pump.

Note

If pulley or bearings of piston vacuum pump are damaged, check whether the drive flange with cam at the injection timing device is damaged and replace parts, if necessary.
