Position arrangement
The pressure limiting solenoid valve (33.01) is part of the compressed air operating unit and is located in the internal side of the chassis board, next to the SCR catalyst.
Function
The pressure limiting solenoid valve (33.01) opens and closes the connector to the compressed air circuit to the auxiliary consumers

The pressure limiting solenoid valve (33.01) is open and deviates the compressed air from the circuit in the feeding line, when the SCR chassis control module communicates the signal based on the engine control module calculation (MR).
The supply line is linked to connector (A). The compressed air originated from the tank flows through the compressed air chamber (D) and the work connector (B). The valve's body is and electromagnetically induced one(2), that maintains the output (3) closed because of the spring pressure acting (4).
When a current is supplied to the solenoid (5), the induced one (2) moves upwards, the input (1) is closed and the output (3) is opened. The work line compressed air, at this point, escapes through the output (3) and vie the breather (C) to the open air.
When the current to the solenoid (5) is interrupted, the pressure spring (4) pressure the electromagnetically one (2) to its final position. At this point, the output (3) is closed, the input (1) opens and the air system returns to the work line.
