Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.

Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

Risk of frostbite to body parts caused by escaping gas and by touching components near the valves when emptying gas cylinders. Risk of poisoning or suffocation caused by inhaling gas.

Remove any sources of ignition.
Protective clothing, safety gloves and safety glasses must always be worn.
Ensure that the work area is adequately ventilated.
When working on vehicles at ambient temperatures over 60 °C, all gas cylinders must be removed.

Turn off the ignition and remove the key

Turn off the master switch

Close shutoff valve on the gas cylinders and open the purge valve to empty the line

 Installation: Close the purge valve.

Remove the gas line connector (2) from high pressure filter

Note on threaded connections of gas lines

 Seal lines to avoid impurities.

 Installation: Replace the sealing ring.

 Installation: Observe the tightening torque.

Remove the gas filter (1) from the support (4)

Install in reverse order



Check

Verify the gas system in accordance with the current national guidelines



 Coat around the connections with lye soap. Check for the formation of bubbles.
