1 | Release the parking brake | ||
2 | Relieve the pressure in the compressed air reservoir | ||
3 | Remove the plug (5) and loosen the relief nut until the position of parking brake mechanical release | Install: At the end of the installation, the relief nut will have to be tightened to its origin position. | |

4 | Remove the articulation pin (3) and disconnect the forked rod from the brake lever | Install: Replace the articulation pin (3) and the counter pin. Lubricate the articulation pin (3). | |
5 | Remove the connections of the compressed air pipe (2) of the service brake and parking brake | With compressed air connection system “VOSS 232” (NG 8, 12) or “SCHÄFER SDF” (NG 6). | |
6 | Remove the self-locking nuts (4) and lift out the combined cylinder (1) | Install: Replace the self-locking nuts (4). Observe the original assembly position of the combined cylinder (1). | |
