Disassembling the crown wheel with the differential

Remove the ring gear (1) from the differential case (2)

Remove the crosswise pins (3, 7)

Using a screwdriver, push the pins (3, 7) out of the differential case (2), being careful not to damage the housing.

Remove the satellite gears (4) with the spherical washers (5)

Disassemble the planetary gear (6) and the thrust washer (8) from the differential housing (2) and from the ring gear (1)

Disassemble with appropriate tool to avoid damaging the thrust washers (8).

Check

Check the parts for damages and wear

Replace the damaged and worn parts.

Carry out assembly of the differential in reverse order

Assemble the bevel gear with the differential
