| Indications for hydraulic pneumatic system (HPS) ventilation | ||
| Indications on the hydraulic fluid according to specifications on sheet 345.0 | ||
1 | Put the gearbox in neutral position | During the bleeding procedure the gearbox drive should remain in neutral position.
2 | Release the bleeding valves (2 and 4) and check for damages or deformities to the cone and clean | Install: Replace the bleeding valves (2 and 4) if necessary.
3 | Put the bleeding valves (2 and 4)
4 | Connect the supply hose (I), to Y adapter (K) and install the hose in the balancing reservoir (H) at the exhaust hose (21) | Use only supply and exhaust equipment approved by GOTIS and identified with the following stickers:
"HY2" for the company Romess Rogg GmbH :_ Co. KG "BOY II MO" for the company Bodo Stier Hydrotechnik GmbH "NEU HY 2" for the company GL GmbH
Adapter set | |||
5 | Turn on the supply and draining equipment | Rinse the supply and bleeding equipment until the hydraulic fluid flows free of bubbles at the supply hose (I) inspection display (20).
6 | Turn of the supply and draining equipment
7 | Remove the Y adapter (K) and the balancing reservoir (H) from the supply hose (I)
8 | Connect the supply hose (I) to the bleeding valves (2 and 4)
9 | Open the maintenance door
10 | Connect the return hose (D) to the exhaust pipe socket (9) and attach it to the balancing reservoir (H) | the hydraulic fluid should be collected by the balancing reservoir (H), because it is joins with air during the bleeding and no longer can be supplied in the supply and bleeding equipment.
11 | Fasten the return hose (D) under the wiper blade (12)
12 | Open both bleeding valves (2 and 4) and the draining screw (1 ad 3) one turn
13 | Turn on the supply and draining equipment | For the bleeding it is necessary constant pressure at the supply and bleeding equipment from 2.5 up to 3.0 bar. The flow should be at least 20 to 30 l/h in the vehicle (it corresponds to approx. 1l/120 up to 180 s). Observe the manufacturer operation manual.
14 | Move the operating lever to neutral position, firstly to the left and then to the right, until the mechanical stop, and hold the lever at these positions for approx. 30 s, respectively | Do not apply excessive pressure on the operating lever, otherwise, the sensor unit can suffer mechanical damages.
Rinse the hydraulic circuit until the hydraulic fluid flow free of bubbles.
15 | Move the operating lever to neutral position several times at a fast sequence, from the right stop to the left one and then hold it at the respective stops for approx. 20 s | Do not apply excessive pressure on the operating lever, otherwise, the sensor unit can suffer mechanical damages.
Rinse the hydraulic circuit until the hydraulic fluid flow free of bubbles.
16 | Move the operating lever to 3rd/4th gear positions, first forward and then backwards, until the stop, and at the front and rear stop hold the lever for approx. 30 s | Do not apply excessive pressure on the operating lever, otherwise, the sensor unit can suffer mechanical damages.
Rinse the hydraulic circuit until the hydraulic fluid flow free of bubbles.
17 | Quickly move the operating lever to 3rd/4th gear positions from the rear to the front stop several times, then hold the lever in each position (rear and front) approx. 20 s | Do not apply excessive pressure on the operating lever, otherwise, the sensor unit can suffer mechanical damages.
Rinse the hydraulic circuit until the hydraulic fluid flow free of bubbles.
18 | Close both bleeding valves (2 and 4) and the bleeding screw (1 and 3) and turn off the supply and bleeding equipment
19 | Put the operating lever in neutral position
20 | Select and engage the gearbox gears several times | Gears: move the operating lever, at least 10 times, forward and backward in a fast sequence. Flow: move the operating lever, at least 10 times, from left to right in a fast sequence. It allows the control mechanism drive auto centering . In case the control mechanism drive stroke is not precise (stops are too soft), bleed the system again.
21 | Perform a function test | Select and engage all gearbox gears, if necessary:
Repeat the bleeding process (from work procedure 12).
22 | Remove the supply hose (I) from bleeding valves (2 and 4) and install the protection covers at the bleeding valves (2 and 4)
Danger! | Risk of injury due to pinching and crushing when tilting the cabin | When tilting the cabin forward and backwards, do not enter the tilting area and take preventive measures to hinder non-authorized people from entering the area. Always tilt the cabin to the final position and lock it with a safety device.
23 | Tilt the cabin | ||
| Information on cabin tilting | ||
24 | Correct the hydraulic fluid (max) level at the balancing reservoir (8) with a hand pump (A) and the connection hose (C)
