Detach the exhaust piping at the muffler inlet with catalyst (5)

In order to prevent burn injuries, do not carry out the due work when the exhaust piping is hot.

Detach the exhaust piping at the muffler outlet with catalyst (5)

Only for vehicles with CODE (K68) for vertical exhaust piping in the back of the cabin.

Detach the electrical connection from the NOx sensor and control unit assembly (A113) (2), the electrical connection of the temperature sensor after the catalyst (B116) (3) and the electrical connection of the temperature sensor before the catalyst (B115) (4)

Remove the temperature sensor (B115) at the muffler inlet with catalyst (5)

Remove/install temperature sensor upstream of SCR catalytic converter

Remove the NO x sensor assembly and command unit (A113)

Remove/install NOx sensor with controller unit

Support the muffler with catalyst (5) upon a hydraulic jack

Use an appropriate support between the muffler (5) and the hydraulic jack.

Loosen the muffler fastening screws on the bracket (1)

Remove the muffler with catalyst (5) from the longitudinal member support
