	Remove and install
1	Remove the belts.		AR13.21-B-0100A
2	Remove the fan (1).	For engines with hard fans (for trucks only).	AR20.40-B-5614A
		For engines with hydrodynamic fan (for trucks only).	AR20.40-B-5660A
3	Release the studs (2) and remove the intermediate piece (4) and the pulley (5).	For engines with hydrodynamic fan, BM 475.950/951/954/975/979/982; 476.950/ 973/974/975/976/979/980/982/983, (applies to trucks only).
4	Loosen the screws (6) and remove the pulley (5).	For engines 475.952/953/976/977/978/984/ 985/986/987/988/989/990/991/992/993/994/ 995/996/997/998/982; 476.972/973/977/978/ 981/984/985/988/989/990/991, (applies to buses only).

5	Loosen the screws (7) and remove the vibration absorber (8).	 Bumping or dropping could damage the vibration absorber (8) for the viscous type.
		If the vibration absorber to be removed is the type using a hub (9), loosen the screws (10) and remove the hub.
		 Viscous vibration absorbers cannot be placed in a vice; manually hold it on the bench and remove the hub (9).

6	Remove the oil baffle (11).	 Install: Install the oil baffle ring (11) with the outer edge facing the inside of the engine.
7	Install in the reverse order.

Flywheel, driven plate, vibration damper, starter ring gear
