Check the sealing elements of the universal joints for damage. | |
3 | Force the sliding sleeve up and down and sideways in the direction of rotation | The sliding sleeve must not show any signs of wear, however a small play is admissible. | |
4 | Check the crossarm bearing seals and sliding sleeve seals for conditions | Replace damaged sealing rings. |
