Remove lower engine compartment paneling.

Perform a visual inspection of all lines and hoses for brake fluid, oil, fuel and coolant.

Check for any leaks, damage or other faults (e.g. corrosion, porosity, chafe marks etc.) that could prevent any further use.

If damage or defects are found,

rectify damage or defects.

Check signal lines of driver assistance systems and brake pad wear display.
