4 | Open coolant drain plug (3) and drain of coolant at engine radiator (2) | The coolant drain plug (3) does not have to be removed completely to drain it. Catch coolant using a coolant catching device. The coolant will be cleaned through a filter during filling. | |

6 | Check coolant for soiling | In the case of strong fouling, the coolant must generally be replaced. | |

9 | Start engine and bleed cooling system | Run engine for about 5 minutes at varying rotational speeds. Top up coolant constantly to the bottom edge of the filler neck. | |
