The coolant circuit of the charge air cooling is bled through actuating the charge air cooler circulation pump (M44)
Constantly top up coolant at coolant expansion reservoir. Close coolant expansion reservoir once
coolant temperature is 60-70 °C.
The circulation pump of the charge air cooler (M44) is operated using STAR DIAGNOSIS:
1 Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and start.
2 Select Model series.
3 Select engine and steering.
4 Select model.
5 Select main group of control modules.
6 Select control module group drive.
7 Select CDI-V1 - Common-Rail Diesel Injection.
8 Select actuations.
9 Select M44.
10 Switch on circulation pump with function key "F3".
The circulation pump runs only so long as the key "F3" is pressed.
Operate key "F3" directly, not using the mouse!
