Remove bottom engine compartment paneling.

Remove cover (9) from front bumper (1).

Disassemble/assemble front bumper

Do not remove front bumper (1). Remove cover (9) only.

Removed cover (9) is no longer required. Properly dispose of removed cover (9). Observe the applicable legal requirements and specifications of the relevant country.

Cut to size

Cut off sealing lip (2).

Cut off sealing lip (2) from air duct segment (3) over entire length using a suitable tool.

Dispose of cut-off piece of sealing lip (2) properly. Observe the applicable legal requirements and specifications of the relevant country.

Install

Install new cover (9) on front bumper (1).

Disassemble/assemble front bumper

Replace the previously removed cover (9) with a new cover (9). For this, see the part number in the parts ordering information table.

Install lower engine compartment lining.
