MODEL 950.203 /204 /205 with CODE (AN9) Hydraulically steered trailing axle

Flash code 38 for teach-in process of EHZ

If flash code 38 appears during the teach-in process, this means that the centering pressure was not completely dissipated.

In work instructions AR46.80- W-1110A, steps 7 to 11 describe how to bleed the centering pressure.

The centering pressure is completely dissipated when no more steering oil exits from the vent line connected at the test connection.

If the teach-in process is interrupted, the centering pressure must be released prior to starting a new teach-in process.

Note on removing the EHZ control unit

Mark plugs and plug positions prior to pulling out the electrical connectors from the EHZ control unit.

Inserting the plugs in the wrong position could cause a short circuit in the EHZ control unit.
