We see cause to inform you about the following facts.
Due to a design change, the transverse control arms and their flange joints have been produced in accordance with two different as-built configurations.
As-built configuration 1 :Flange joint with elongated holes
The flange joint with elongated holes (A4143300007/ A4143300107) allows caster adjustment.
NOTE:
Do not adjust caster at the flange joint.
As-built configuration 2 : Flange joint without elongated holes
Caster cannot be adjusted on flange joints having no elongated holes (A4143300307 / A4143300407) as of vehicle chassis no.:4147001N200828.
COMMENT:
As-built configuration 1 can be replaced by as-built configuration 2.
As-built configuration 2 is available as a replacement part.
