The different heat stages are implemented through pulsed actuation of the heated cushions (R13/1, R13/2 or R13/3, R13/4). Heating times are preset.

Function

Pressing the left front HS [SIH] switch (N72/1s10) or the right front HS [SIH] switch (N72/1s11) is read in by the upper control panel control unit (N72/1). The upper control panel control unit (N72/1) controls, depending on the number of operations of the left front HS [SIH] switch (N72/1s10) or right front HS [SIH] switch (N72/1s11), the heat output of the heated cushion (R13/1, R13/2 or R13/3, R13/4) in the seats and backrests.

The heat output can be manually changed at any given time by operating the left front HS [SIH] switch (N72/1s10) or the right front HS [SIH] switch (N72/1s11).

Actuation

Located in the upper control panel control unit (N72/1) are the power electronics which are responsible for actuation of the heated cushions (R13/1, R13/2, R13/3 and R13/4) via integrated transistors. A timer control reduces the heat output.
