N10/16 COU [ZBE] control unit

Operation of the heater can be switched directly on the COU control unit (N10/16) for the heater unit (A7) or at a preset timeFuel delivery is stopped immediately by shutting off the warm air STH fuel metering pump (M46/2). To cool down the heater unit (A7) the hot air blower fan motor (A7m1) is activated for approx. t = 4 min. (cold blow phase). The glow pin (A7r1) is actuated for t = 40 s during the cold blow phase to clean it from possible combustion residues.When the cold blow phase is completed, all heater unit (A7) components are switched off

Deactivate heater mode from the standby mode

If fuel is not supplied until the heater unit (A7) is deactivated or the heater unit (A7) is in the stage "OFF", the heater unit (A7) is switched off immediately without activating the hot air blower fan motor (A7m1) (cold blow phase).

Manual mode without timer

Deactivate heater unit (A7)

The "ON/OFF" button for the refrigerator box, the stationary heater and the timer (13) and the "Stationary heater heating level" (17) button must be pressed simultaneously. Activation is indicated in the display of the COU control unit (N10/16) by extinguishing of the "Stationary heater mode" display (5).

Switch timer off

Press the "Stationary heater switch-on times" (12) button and the "ON/OFF" button for the refrigerator box, the stationary heater and the timer (13) simultaneously until the "Stationary heater mode" (5) indicator in the COU control unit (N10/16) display goes off.

Heater unit (A7) switch-off malfunction

A shutoff takes place if one of the following conditions exists:

 If voltage (U < 10.5 V) is too low or too high (U > 16 V) the heater unit (A7) is switched off after 20 s

 When the overheating and flame sensor unit (A7r3) is defective or the electrical line to the overheating and flame sensor unit (A7r3) is interrupted, the heater unit (A7) is started and only switched off during the staring phase

 If the hot air blower fan motor (A7m1) does not start or if the speed deviates min. 10 %, the heater unit (A7) is switched off after = 30 s

 After a malfunction switch-off, the actuation of the warm air STH fuel metering pump (M46/2) is interrupted and the hot air blower fan motor (A7m1) continues to run for
t = 4 min.
