The flame sensor and overheat switch have an effect on the control module for switching off the heater in the event of a malfunction. Start repetitions upon failure to start or flame discontinuation during operation:
If the heater does not ignite, following the second start repetition, the system goes to malfunction shut-off.
If the voltage (with glow plug switched on) drops to below 9.5 volts or increases to above 14 volts, the system goes to malfunction shut-off.
If the voltage (with glow plug switched off) drops to below 10.5 volts or increases to above 14.7 volts, the system goes to malfunction shut-off.
