A97 Camper operating and display unit

The button "outside temperature" (11) is nonfunctional. The outside temperature can be requested via the instrument cluster (P15) and it will also be displayed there.

The heating mode is switched off directly at the camper operating and display unit (A97) of the hot air auxiliary heater unit or by means of preselection. The fuel supply is stopped immediately by switching off the metering pump (M16). To cool down the hot air auxiliary heater unit, activate the blower motor (E18m44) for
t = 4 mins. (cold blowing phase). To clean possible combustion residues, the glow pin (E18r19) is actuated during the cold blowing phase for t = 40 seconds.

When the cold blowing phase is complete, all components of the hot air auxiliary heater unit are switched off.

The hot air auxiliary heater unit runs for a maximum of
t = 120 mins. after activation

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Deactivate heater operation from the standby mode

If there is still no fuel delivery by the time the warm air auxiliary heater unit is deactivated or if the hot air auxiliary heater unit is in the control level "OFF", the hot air auxiliary heater unit is switched off immediately, without the blower motor (E18m44) being activated (cold blowing phase).

Manual operation without timer

Deactivate the hot air auxiliary heater unit

The "ON/OFF" button for the refrigerator box, the stationary heater and the timer (13) and the "stationary heater heating level" button (16) must be pressed simultaneously. Deactivation is indicated on the camper operating and display unit (A97) by the "stationary heater operation" indicator (5) going off.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Program timer

Switch timer off

Press the "stationary heater switch-on times" button (12) and the "ON/OFF" button for the refrigerator box, the stationary heater and the timer (13) simultaneously until the "stationary heater operation" indicator (5) in the camper operating and display unit (A97) goes off.

Fault shutoff of the hot air auxiliary heater unit

A shutoff takes place if one of the following conditions exists:

If the voltage level drops below 10.5 V (undervoltage) or the voltage level exceeds 16 V (overvoltage), the hot air auxiliary heater unit is shut off after t = 20 seconds.

If the overheating sensor (E18b95) and the flame sensor are defective (E18b96) or if the electrical line is interrupted, the hot air auxiliary heater unit is activated and only switched off during the start-up phase.

If the hot air auxiliary heater unit does not start or the speed differs by more than 10 %, the hot air auxiliary heater unit is shut off after t = 30 seconds.

After a fault shutoff, the actuation of the metering pump (M16) is canceled and the blower motor (E18m44) runs for
t = 4 mins.
