Y13 Fresh/recirculated air flap switchover valve

Function

The HEAT and Tempmatic A/C vacuum system serves for control of the fresh/recirculated air flap.
The vacuum is connected to the fresh/recirculated air flap switchover valve (Y13) via the valve block (36) and the cockpit separation point (35). The fresh/recirculated air flap switchover valve (Y13) is opened by pressing the recirculated air button
( ) on the pushbutton control module whereby the fresh/recirculated air flap switchover valve is actuated via the fresh/recirculated air flap valve vacuum element (44).
