Location

The control unit for condensation sensor for fuel filter with heating element is located in the engine compartment at the rear right.

Task

The condensate control unit actuates the condensation sensor for fuel filter with heating element (B76/1). The condensation level is read in by the control unit for condensation sensor for fuel filter and transmitted to the CDI control unit (N3/9).

Function

For an outside air temperature <2 °C the control unit for the condensation sensor is switched on and actuates the heating element in the condensation sensor for fuel filter. The control unit for condensation sensor switches off after 30 minutes.
