operation
The basic task executed by the components of this set (KO) of the brake system is to warn the vehicle driver of any possible irregularity on the pneumatic and/or pressure of the hydraulic brake system.
Indications in relation to pneumatic pressure:
The double pressure gauge (11.02) tells the existing pressure in the pneumatic circuit because connections 41 and 42 are commonly linked to the tanks (5.01).
The lamp 9.01 (I)warns the driver about the low pressure on the pneumatic system. It is connected to the pressure switches (10.01) which remain with their contact open while the pneumatic pressure is above a limit value. When the pneumatic pressure drops below this value, the pressure switch contact (10.01) closes, and the lamp9.01 (I)is activated.
Indications in relation to pneumatic pressure:
The lamp9.01 (II) warns the driver about the parking brake application. It is connected to the pressure switches (10.01), which remain with their contact open while the hydraulic circuit oil is above a certain level. When the oil is below a certain level, the contact switch (10.01) closes and the lamp9.01 (II)is activated.
The switches (10.01) are also linked to the hydraulic tanks (34.02).
