Operation

When compressed by the compressor (1.01), the air goes to the air filter (6.13) which has a pressure regulating valve incorporated.

After performing the filtering followed by the regulation of pneumatic pressure of compressed air, the pressure regulating valve incorporated into the air filter (6.13) sends air to the compressed air reservoir (5.01 or 5.02) and the four-circuit valve (4.03).

The compressed air reservoir (5.01) stores the air and uses it to clean the filter of the APU valve (6.13). The reservoir (5.02), in addition to storing the air and using it to perform filter cleaning of the APU valve (6.13), feeds some accessories such as: top-brake, pneumatic horn etc).

The four-circuit protective valve (4.03) supplies compressed air to the various pneumatic circuits of the brake system (service brake, parking brake, auxiliary circuits etc). As well as ensuring minimum pressure in each one of the circuits.
