MODEL 405.10 /12 /20 /22 with CODE (A30) Tire pressure control system (tire control)
MODEL 437.42 /43 /46 with CODE (A30) Tire pressure control system (tire control)
Select the relevant axle or all axles using the RDRA front/rear axle switch (S73). The RDRA control unit (A29) transmits the signal to the solenoid valve of the 3/2 directional control valve (Y47 or Y48). Then switch the RDRA inflate/deflate switch (S74) to inflate (indicator lamp in switch comes on). The RDRA control unit (A29) transmits the signal to the solenoid valve of the 3/2 directional control valve (Y46).
The solenoid valves switch the 3/2 directional control valves (Y46/Y47/Y48) to allow air through (inflate), so the compressed air from the compressed air reservoir (5.01) can flow into the tires via the pressure limiting valve (30.03).
The inflation process closes the vent duct in the shuttle valves (28.03).
The pressure limiting valve (30.03) prevents the maximum permissible tire inflation pressure from being exceeded, depending on the tire size.
The maximum tire inflation pressure is also monitored in the RDRA control unit (A29), meaning that the system is protected in two ways.
The tire inflation pressures on the front and rear axles can be read off from the driver information system.
