Task

Coolant pump 1 (feed line) and coolant pump 2 (return line) ensure circulation of the coolant in the small cooling circuit through the components high-voltage battery, the high-voltage battery heat exchanger (for code (V03) Battery cooling system) and the high-voltage battery heater (R101).

Coolant pump 1 (feed line) and coolant pump 2 (return line) are directly actuated by the battery management system control unit (N822).

Actuation takes place as required, according to the temperature of the high-voltage battery. Circulation of the coolant takes place in a case of heating as well of in a case of cooling.
