For "circuit 15 ON" the CDI control unit (N3/9) switches on the front SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1). The CDI control unit supplies the signal for preglowing to the glow time output stage (N14/3) via the drive train LIN.

The electric fuel pump (M3) is switched on via the rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2) and fuel pump relay (N10/2kD). If the engine is not started, the fuel pump is switched off again after approx. 3 seconds
