Display of required service work

Alongside the service indicators, the required service category
(A or B) is also displayed.

The service symbol (a wrench) appears once or twice in the display.

The service symbol appears

 Once for service category A

 Twice for service category B

 Every service category A is always followed by a
service category B.
After a service category B the next service category must be calculated on the basis of the mileage readings. If the mileage in the current service interval is less than 22 000 km, service category A comes next; otherwise it is service category B.
This calculation is now made automatically in the instrument cluster (A1).
The path of the displayed service category A or B can be traced on the service sheet without calculation.
