Remove/install heated cushion at front seat cushion

Remove

Remove foam part (1) from front seat

Detach cover from foam part (1)

 The left seat heated cushion (R13/1) and the right seat heated cushion (R13/3) cannot be removed from the foam part (1). Both parts must always be replaced.

Install

Align left seat heated cushion (R13/1) or right seat heated cushion (R13/3) on foam part (1)

Pull off adhesive strip (2) and stick left seat heated cushion (R13/1) or right seat heated cushion (R13/3) to foam part (1)

Push areas (C) of left seat heated cushion (R13/1) or right seat heated cushion (R13/3) into recesses (arrows A) in foam part (1)

 If the areas (C) of the left seat heated cushion (R13/1) or the right seat heated cushion (R13/3) do not sit properly in the recesses (arrows A), this may prevent the seat cushion cover from being installed properly.

Pull off adhesive strip (3) and stick left seat heated cushion (R13/1) or right seat heated cushion (R13/3) to foam part (1)

Push areas (D) of left seat heated cushion (R13/1) or right seat heated cushion (R13/3) into recesses (arrows B) in foam part (1)

 If the areas (D) of the left seat heated cushion (R13/1) or the right seat heated cushion (R13/3) do not sit properly in the recesses (arrows B), this may prevent the seat cushion cover from being installed properly.

Pull off adhesive strip (4) and stick left seat heated cushion (R13/1) or right seat heated cushion (R13/3) to foam part (1)

Route heated seats wiring harness (5) in guide (arrow E) of foam part (1)

Fit cover to foam part (1)
