Remove/install

1

Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2  m).

Remove front section of load compartment floor or high-voltage battery cover.

Remove load compartment trim at left side (1) and load compartment trim at right side (2).

Remove rear-end center-section trim (4).

Remove tie-down eyes in rear area on left and right

Remove left and right support (5)

Remove spare wheel well trim (6)

Loosen screw/bolt (7) on compressed-air reservoir (12)

Unhook compressed-air reservoir (12) on cover (8)

Disconnect pneumatic lines (9, 10) on compressed-air reservoir (12)

Remove pneumatic lines (9, 10) from upper foam mounting (11)

Unclip cap (8) and move to side far enough to access electrical connector

Remove upper foam mounting (11)

Disconnect electrical connector on multicontour seat pneumatic pump (M40)

Remove cover (8)

Remove multicontour seat pneumatic pump (M40) from lower foam mounting (13) and place to one side


Make sure that the pneumatic lines (9, 10) and further pneumatic lines on the terminal block on the multicontour seat pneumatic pump (M40) are not kinked.
Leaks can occur otherwise.

Unclip pneumatic terminal block on multicontour seat pneumatic pump (M40)

Remove multicontour seat pneumatic pump (M40)

Install in the reverse order
