Remove/install

Remove head restraint of left or right seat backrest of front passenger bench seat.

Remove left seat backrest trim of front passenger bench seat.

When removing the head restraint guides (1) from the left backrest of the front passenger bench seat.

Remove right seat backrest trim of front passenger bench seat.

When removing the head restraint guides (1) from the right backrest of the front passenger bench seat.

Unhook terminal strips (2.1) from seat backrest frame.

When removing the head restraint guides (1) from the left backrest of the front passenger bench seat.

Fold over seat-back linings (2.2) of seat backrest cover (2) until mounts of head restraint guides (1) on seat backrest frame are accessible.

When removing the head restraint guides (1) from the left backrest of the front passenger bench seat.

Press in catch hook (1.1) on respective head restraint guide (1) using a suitable tool and pull head restraint guide (1) out of seat backrest.

 Note installation position and installation location of the head restraint guides (1), as the head restraint guides (1) are different.

 Installation: Ensure that the backrest cover (2) is seated correctly all around the head restraint guide (1).

Install in the reverse order.
