Remove left and right sealing profile on roof frame

Cover window channel on rear side window with dry rag

Manually lift retaining rail (1) with edge stripping (3) from roof frame until long wedge (4) can be installed between edge stripping (3) and roof frame.

Install long wedge (4) in area of clips (2) between edge stripping (3) and roof frame and press off retaining rail (1) until clips (2) disengage.

Do not damage paintwork.

Do not bend retaining rail (1), otherwise it must be replaced.

Replace damaged clips (2).

Remove retaining rail (1)

Install

Position retaining rail (1) on roof frame

Do not damage paintwork.

Fasten retaining rail (1) with clips (2) on roof frame

Ensure that retaining rail (1) and edge stripping (3) are seated correctly.

Remove dry cloth from window channel

Install sealing profile on roof frame
