M2/21 Rear air distribution flap actuator motor

1 | Remove center console | ||
2 | Remove electrical connectors (1) from bracket (4) | ||
3 | Loosen screw (2) | ||
4 | Remove bracket (4) upward from blower | Installation: Position bracket (4) on guides (5). | |
5 | Disconnect electrical connector (6) and remove rear air distribution flap actuator motor (M2/21) with bracket (4) | ||
6 | Unscrew bolts (7) from rear air distribution flap actuator motor (M2/21) | ||
7 | Remove rear air distribution flap actuator motor (M2/21) from bracket (4) and pull off of connection arm (3). | Keep position of air flaps in mind when removing.When installing, the air flap should be in the same position. | |
8 | Install in the reverse order | ||
9 | Normalize actuator motor | STAR DIAGNOSIS diagnosis system | |
| Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory | ||
10 | Read out fault memory and erase | Stored faults which may be caused by removal, test work, removed lines or a simulation, must be processed and erased in the fault memories after completing the work. | |
