2	Remove bolt (1)
3	Unclip power steering system oil cooler (2) at additional fan unit (3) (arrows) and place to one side	 Installation: Ensure that power steering oil cooler (2) is seated correctly.
4	Disconnect electrical connection (4)
5	Remove both brackets for front bumper at front module	Model 906 with code XM0 (facelift) or with code XM5 (facelift for Latin America)
6	Remove screws (5)
7	Unclip automatic transmission oil cooling lines (8) from retaining clamps (7)	MODEL 906 with CODE G42 (7G-TRONIC PLUS)
8	Swivel additional fan unit (3) forward, unclip automatic transmission oil cooler (6) and guide to one side	MODEL 906 with CODE G42 (7G-TRONIC PLUS)
9	Remove additional fan unit (3)
10	Disassemble additional fan unit (3)	When replacing the additional fan unit (3).

11	Install in the reverse order

Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.	Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear buttoned-up and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
12	Perform engine test run, switch on air conditioning and let engine run until air conditioning additional fan 1 and air conditioning additional fan 2 switch on
