M2/8 Left defroster vent flap actuator motor

M2/9 Right defroster vent flap actuator motor

Remove/install

Remove instrument panel

Remove sound deadening mat from AC housing

Detach electrical connector (2) from right defroster vent flap actuator motor (M2/9) and electrical connector (3) from left defroster vent flap actuator motor (M2/8)

Carefully lift seal in areas A and remove concealed bolts

Installation: Ensure that seal is properly seated, if necessary glue seal in place.

Unhook speaker cable from the guides on the side of the AC housing top section (1) and remove AC housing top section (1) up and out

Remove bolts (4)

Remove right defroster vent flap actuator motor (M2/9) from AC housing top section (1)

Install in the reverse order

Normalize actuator motor and read out and delete fault memory
