Risk of injury caused by fingers being jammed or pinched when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lid/rear-end door or sliding roof.

When moving components, ensure that no body parts or limbs are within the operating range of moving parts.

Remove door lining on rear-end door

Remove electrical connector (3) from door lock (1)

Remove bolts (2) from door lock (1)

Unhook Bowden cable (5) from emergency unlocking (4) and pull Bowden cable (5) with door lock (1) out of rear-end door

Installation: Ensure that Bowden cable (5) is routed correctly!

Remove door sill molding (load compartment)

Unscrew bolts (7) from locking eye (6)

Mark installed position.

Remove locking eye (6)

Install in the reverse order

Check

Check gaps on rear-end door all the way around
