While moving components, ensure that no body parts or limbs are within the operating range of moving parts.

Loosen bolts (3) from striker eye (2)

Check gap around rear door (1)

Gap between rear door and entry

Gap between rear door and C-pillar

Loosen bolts (6) for top door hinge (4) or bolts (8) for bottom door hinge (5) on rear door (1) and adjust transitions in area of A pillar by moving rear door (1)

 The contour of the rear door (1) should be flush with the contour of the front door or lay maximum 1 mm deeper.

Do not loosen top door hinge (4) and bottom door hinge (5) simultaneously to prevent an unintentional maladjustment.

Tighten bolts (6) for top door hinge (4) and bolts (8) for bottom door hinge (5) on rear door (1)



Loosen bolts (7) for top door hinge (4) or bolts (9) for bottom door hinge (5) on B-pillar and adjust gaps by moving rear door (1)

 Do not loosen top door hinge (4) and bottom door hinge (5) simultaneously to prevent an unintentional maladjustment.

Tighten bolts (7) for top door hinge (4) and bolts (9) for bottom door hinge (5) on B-pillar



Adjust transition between rear door (1) and rear fender and C-pillar by moving striker eye (2)

 The contour of the rear door (1) must be flush with the contour of the rear fender and C-pillar or extend a maximum of 1 mm.

Tighten bolts (3) for striker eye (1)


