Remove side paneling (12, 13) from instrument panel

Remove center curtain rail (6)

Open roof hatch on both sides

Remove cover from sliding roof motor

Only on vehicles with code (D27) Electric steel tilting/sliding roof.

Disconnect electrical connector from controller unit on sliding roof motor

Only on vehicles with code (D27) Electric steel tilting/sliding roof.

Remove edge protection strip (5)

Remove grab handle (8) above front passenger door

Remove grab handle next to roof hatch

Only on vehicles with grab handle.

Remove tachograph (P1)

Remove all other electrical units installed in equipment carrier (2)

Disconnect driver side roof connectors (X124.1, X124.2) and passenger side roof connector (X125.1)

Remove roof electric wiring harness from
right and left A-pillar

Remove left clearance lamp (E12) and right clearance lamp (E13)

17

Remove clips (4).

Remove bolt (11)

Remove sun visors (10)

Loosen door seal (7) in area of right and left front paneling (3)

Partially remove bracket on center curtain rail (6)

Only when center curtain rail (6) is fastened with sheet metal screws.

Remove front headliner (3)
