Remove/install

Switch off ignition

Remove rear wall paneling

Vehicles with code F07 (Cab S (short))

Open roof hatch and remove edge protection strip (5)

Remove wardrobe hooks (6)

Remove sun visors (3)

Detach seal (4) on left and right in area of headliner (1)

Remove A-pillar trim on passenger side

Disconnect electrical connectors on roof wiring harness in footwell on passenger side

Remove roof wiring harness on A-pillar on passenger side

Remove A-pillar trim on driver side

Disconnect electrical connectors on roof wiring harness in footwell on driver side

Remove roof wiring harness on A-pillar on driver side

Remove retaining clips (2) on headliner (1)

 Pulling hook

Remove retaining clips all the way around on headliner (1) and remove headliner (1)

Disconnect electrical connector for front mirror heater

Disconnect electrical connector from right and left front clearance lamp

Disconnect electrical connectors on roof wiring harness from connected components on cab roof and remove roof wiring harness on cab roof

If present.

Guide roof wiring harness on right and left between A-pillar and instrument panel from bottom upward

Remove headliner (1)

 The electrical equipment and roof wiring harness remain on the headliner (1).

Install in the reverse order
