Remove paneling in trunk

Remove/install

1.1

Lift trunk floor paneling (5) and hook into sealing frame (6) on trunk lid (8)

If carrier plate cover (2) is not removed.

1.2

Remove clips (7) and remove trunk floor paneling (5)

When removing carrier plate cover (2), left side paneling (1) or right side paneling (3).



Remove spare tire well paneling (10)

Only if equipped with TIREFIT

Loosen nuts (13) on rear center section paneling (4)

 Do not unscrew nuts (13) completely.

Unclip rear center section paneling (4) with assembly wedge from clips (12) and remove upward

 Installation: Check clips (12) for damage, replace if necessary.



Fold over left and right rear seat backrest

When removing left side paneling (1) and right side paneling (3).

Remove anchoring lug (11) on left and right from carrier plate cover (2) and remove carrier plate cover (2)

Remove anchoring lug (9) from left side paneling (1) and right side paneling (3)

Remove expansion clips (17) from left side paneling (1) and right side paneling (3)



Pull pin (14) out pocket hook (15) and remove pocket hook (15) from left side paneling (1) and right side paneling (3)



Disconnect electrical connector (16) from right trunk lamp (E18/4)

Loosen from left side paneling (1) and right side paneling (3) in lower area of wheel wells, pull toward center of trunk and remove.

12

Install in the reverse order
